Brian and I went to see a show at a gay bar. There was something special about the show, so that's how Brian was convinced to go. At first we were going to sit in the area off to the side, but then a booth opened up in the main seating area in the second "row." During the show, this area turned into a big bed, with people sitting and laying all over it.
The stage was huge and cavernous, like an incropping of rock more than a stage. There were live animals that lived right there. I saw tons of gay guys that I knew, including quite a few from high school. One was even a guy that I used to have a crush on. They were all so nice to us, and we had a great time.
We had a lot to drink. By the end of the show, we were laying half naked on the bed. In fact, I was mostly naked, just wearing a bra, and I had no clue where my underwear had got to. Brian found them for me amongst the covers, and I went to walk around the vendors booths, like a convention, only wearing my bra and underwear and a pair of heels. Still very drunk, I stopped at a tattoo artists booth and decided to get a tattoo.
I blacked out at that point and woke up the next morning, still in my underwear and the heels, now with a huge, almost full leg, but very cool looking tattoo. It was very colorful, and it said something that didn't make sense to me, but it was very well done and artistic. I loved it, but wondered if I would regret it in a few days. It went from my thigh, down my leg, all around my calf, and onto my foot. So even if I was wearing pants and sandals, a small bit of it would still be visible. I thought about how it would look when I wore shorts. I knew my parents would hate it, and I planned how I could hide it when they were around. Then I went to work, reasonably dressed at this point, but the tat was still very visible. I showed it off to coworkers, and got lots of compliments, although some asked about the meaning of what it said. (I wish I could remember it.) Brian was working a temp job there, but my boss was frustrated with him. He took long lunches and didn't work very fast. We were going to go to lunch together, but he left before me. I caught up with him, but was mad at him for eating without me.
When we got back to work, which had something to do with the venue that the show had been at, there was a lady there that was trying to find a job. She was very intelligent, but was having a hard time finding anything other than lowly temp jobs.
Brian went back to work, this time helping the guys that put on the show. They loved him, and he worked hard for them.
